PRESENT:

Sunday October 11 this year, President spurious, Felipe de Jesús Calderón Hinojosa, declared the termination of the decentralized body Luz y Fuerza del Centro (LyFC), which was created on 9 February 1994, to replace the company Luz y Fuerza del Centro, SA which was established since 1963, after the Canadian company was nationalized Mexican Light and Power Company in 1960. LyFC
extinctions settlement involves more than 44 thousand workers and the disappearance of the Mexican Electricians Union (SME), which was established in 1914, coupled with the elimination of the conquests work achieved in almost 95 years of struggle, which were reflected in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CST).
To Felipe Calderon, CST EMS was full of costly privileges and benefits that led to bankruptcy LyFC, but those benefits are not worth comparing with those received by the Mexican political class that is part of the Presidency of the Republic, the Congress and the Supreme Court's Office and are bankrupting our country.
The CST has enabled EMS workers involved in making business decisions, which has prevented the one-sidedness, authoritarianism and the imposition of LyFC authorities, and in turn has encouraged the hiring of more workers, rather than the loss of seats and the declining number of workers. However, for the President spurious, having more workers represents an unnecessary expense. To keep LyFC
enough to stop subsidizing big business in the collection of light and reduce the salaries of top officials, however, chose to affect employees, stripping them of their jobs, with a wealth of violence, by using the Federal Preventive Police (PFP) to evict the premises.
workers from Mexico and the world can not allow to be completed in this way with the historical conquests of workers electricians. If we miss this attack on the EMS, we are opening the door for the same will happen with other unions.
The weapon they have in their hands the trade unions to defend workers rights and improve their work, is the strike. Thus, members of the Union of the Workers Union of Upper Secondary Education Institute of the Federal District (SUTIEMS) but it is now necessary to promote the establishment of a United Front of Workers that can promote a general strike or a strike in National Civic to reverse the decree LyFC suppression and recovery facilities are guarded by PFP, to replace them in the hands of workers in the SME. SUTIEMS
As we support the actions they may decide to undertake the EMS workers and each of the 17 high schools in the Federal District Government will take care of spreading the struggle and find that students, staff and parents join it .

PFP OUT THE LIGHT AND POWER CENTER!

ALL UP IN THE DEFENSE OF SME

Presidential Decree has extinguished Luz y Fuerza del Centro and settled to 42 thousand workers in addition to leaving active the uncertainty to 22 retirees is an attack on all workers in the country, not only represents the elimination of the source of the work of thousands of workers, but the liquidation of one of the longest running and most militant unions in the country (EMS) the elimination of one of the most advanced Coletivo contracts, and privatization d ela electricity industry, if we let this blow will leave the door open for the destruction of unions in Mexico and the elimination of the working class as an organized force, labor reform and privatization would be imposed more easily. The government and its hired media speak of the privileges of the union but really want all workers fall into the same level of impoverishment and misery rather than fight together for the extension of rights to all workers, that LFC was a viable enterprise, but do not talk about that big companies pay less one-third of what you pay for an ordinary consumer, that the presidency of the republic does not pay light, that 35% of the light in our country has been privatized and that the CFE buys English companies and companies linked to the Salinas electric power, the government removed but rescuing bankers LFC, highways and large employers. Before these attacks, the Union of the Workers Union Education Institute Senior Media City (SUTIEMS) makes a strong appeal to all members, all education workers, administrative and cleaning of AIMS, students and parents to show solidarity with the struggle of the SME that is everyone and join in THE MAGNA UP on Thursday, October 15 that will depart from the Angel of Independence to the Zocalo at 4 pm. PRESENT:

The Mexican Electricians Union (SME) is under a brutal crackdown by the state, business elites and the mass communication. The Federal Government has taken advantage of the differences that arose after the election of Secretary General of the SME, to interfere in the internal affairs of the union and the workers put the interests of capital and its government. The intention of the President
spurious, Felipe Calderón Hinojosa, who was imposed by a massive electoral fraud is not union democracy, but the destruction the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCT) of the EMS to prepare the ground for labor reform and privatization of energy sector.
The will of the majority of EMS workers, who spoke in favor of Martin Esparza Flores, is still unknown by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, headed by Javier Lozano Alarcón, by refusing the delivery note making EMS Executive Committee elected democratically. The freezing of union dues is another affront more against workers and threats of repression and even requisition, if workers decide to stop work to defend their rights and achievements are to the agenda.
The differences within the SME, as any other union, must be settled internally under democratic methods and without any intervention. Open the door for the State to intervene in the unions, is to give him the opportunity for it to divide, weaken and destroy the organization working together with labor rights that they have acquired through struggle.
is no doubt that the Federal Government have the need to eliminate any opposition to realize its privatization plans and the EMS has been one of the organizations that are militantly opposed to such plans.
Therefore, the members of the Union of the Union Workers of the Institute of Higher Secondary Education Ontario (SUTIEMS), we express our solidarity with the struggle of the EMS workers in defense of their union, the electrical industry and national sovereignty, and we express our full support to their possible a strike by contract violation that is not giving the elected Executive Committee dues.

"NEW ARRIVAL DIRECTOR GENERAL OF IEMS-DF
LEAVE PENDING THE DEMOCRATIZATION THE INSTITUTE

All workers employed by the AIMS-DF

peasant, student, cultural, indigenous, popular

human rights and media A
PRESENT:

C. After Juventino Rodriguez Ramos, relinquish the post of Director General of the Institute of Higher Secondary Education of the Federal District (AIMS-DF), unable to prove conclusively the validity of his BA degree in History, which he held for more than two years at the Institute, signing trades, newsletters, certificates, individual contracts of employment, the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCT) of the AIMS-DF, inter alia, the mayor of Mexico City, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon, appointed unilaterally, and without taking into account the community of the Institute, Dr. Jose de Jesus Bazan Levi as the new Director General of the AIMS-DF, from Saturday September 26 this year.

Dr. José de Jesús Bazán Levi is a Mexican citizen in full exercise of their civil and political rights, not only has a bachelor's degree in philosophy and theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy, but also acquired the Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Paris (La Sorbonne), France. He has held academic and administrative positions at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), as the teacher of a subject in the Graduate School of Arts, the professor of race in Naucalpan campus of the College of Sciences and Humanities ( CCH). He was also Director of CCH Naucalpan campus from 1975 to 1983 and was CEO of CCH, from 1998 to 2006, and in that sense his appointment as Director General of the AIMS-DF corrects the error in the earlier designation, to be fully implemented the profile established in the Organic Statute of the AIMS-DF for the Director General, however, there remains the need to democratize the Institute.

Undoubtedly one of the main demands have been raised long-AIMS workers DF has been the necessary democratization of the Institute, to ensure that they take into account the wishes of the workers of the same, and thereby prevent unilateralism, authoritarianism and the imposition that have prevailed since its inception in 2000.

The Governing Council of the AIMS-DF, the highest governing body of the Institute, are not represented students or employees thereof; only are the holders of the secretaries of Education, Government, Economic Development Finance and Culture, as well as the Administrative Office and the Institute of Science and Technology of the Federal District, and the Rector of the Autonomous University of Mexico City and two citizens appointed by the Head of Government of the Federal District, which prevents the voice of workers and students be heard.

The General Council-AIMS Inner City, the Institute's advisory body, is composed of the Director General and the Academic Director, the 17 campuses Coordination Assistant, an academic staff representative on each campus and student representative for each campus. Administrative workers are not considered within that body, although Section 89 of the current CCT provides administrative workers will be entitled to attend and vote equity in all consultative bodies of the schools and general. The most that's been allowed to participate with voice but without vote in that body.

The appointment of Director General of the AIMS-DF, so far, is made unilaterally by the Head of Government of the Federal District, who may take into consideration the proposals made by the Governing Council of the Institute, which, as noted above, no part of students or workers.

Assistant Directors Coordination of the campuses are appointed or removed by the Governing Council of the AIMS-DF, a proposal by the Director General of the Institute, regardless of the community.

only thing that has been allowed in most schools (as in Azcapotzalco, Cuajimalpa, GAM 1, GAM II, Iztacalco, Iztapalapa 1, Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta, Tlalpan and Xochimilco 1), is that workers make an slate, which the Director General of the AIMS-DF chooses, from a lack of transparency, one of the candidates to propose to the Government as Deputy Director of Coordination of school, while in other schools, the decision has been taken so unilaterally by the authorities (As Álvaro Obregón, Miguel Hidalgo, Tlalpan II, Venustiano Carranza), without being taken into account students or workers. In the remaining schools (Coyoacan Iztapalapa II and Tlahuac), has not even been a renovation of office after 8 years of service, even though the Organic Statute states that "A Campus Coordination Assistant will remain in by a maximum of four years and, because of both its performance and the results obtained, may be re-appointed only once, in the same position, for a similar period, but in a different campus. " These are just

As a union we are obliged to continue defending the rights and interests of workers as well as our field of work that is public education, secular, free and quality, in high school in this city.

In these times when you are undergoing evaluation and updating the Plan and Curriculum System Bachelor of GDF, and knowing that the new Director General of the AIMS-DF led the process of revising and updating the CCH Study Plan with the which eliminated two of the four shifts, extend the hours of math and science subjects, languages \u200b\u200bare made compulsory, the course included computer and deleted the Academic Unit of Professional and Graduate cycles, we must be alert to prevent possible changes to the Plan and Programmes of Study Bachelor of GDF system affecting labor conditions of workers of the Institute.

Undoubtedly, the Plan and Study Programs IEMS-DF can be perfected and, therefore, should be reviewed for improvement. However, the update should not affect any worker. On the contrary, we must find ways to give job security for teachers Nahuatl Language and Culture, which are contracted under the regime of fees, per hour / week / month, as Academic Advisors Semi-Educate System Institute, in addition to that they should grant indefinite contract to all workers who have been signing academic quarterly contracts for more than six months.

quality public education can not be sustained on the job insecurity of workers.

SUTIEMS Members of hope that the new Director General of the Institute has the necessary provisions to solve the problems that have arisen in the AIMS-DF for lack of funds, regulations, as well as failure of the Federal Labour Law and violations of the TAC, among other situations.

As a union we are prepared to immediately establish working groups with the new Director General of the AIMS-DF that allow to solve the problems that exist in the Institute and drive along with the rest of the community, democratizing it.

Only unity, organization and mobilization of workers can lead to improving our work conditions.

for the democratization of IEMS-DF! UNITED

, organize and mobilize WIN!

Sincerely

By education and decent work!
