Wednesday September 23 this year, the Director General of the Institute Upper Secondary Education in the Federal District (AIMS-DF), Juventino Rodriguez Ramos, publicly presented his resignation, before the series of irregularities which released the newspaper La Crónica de Hoy, on his academic career, among them is the lack of legal basis of the bachelor's degree in history that has held to the community of the Institute for over two years.
The Paragraph IV of Article 11 of the Organic Statute of the AIMS-DF states that to be appointed Director General of the Institute is required to have obtained the minimum degree of BA, however, at the National School of Anthropology and History (ENAH) only has recorded that the current Director General of the AIMS-DF attended only the first half of the race.

While it is true that Article 11 of the Organic Statute of the AIMS-DF provides that the Director General of the Institute shall be appointed by the mayor of Mexico City, again you can not make the same mistakes that have now come to light on the choice of previous official ..
can not take back positions as the Secretary of the Federal District, which states that simply is what officials say about their academic status, so that things are well. You need to check that the new Director General of the AIMS-DF is a Mexican citizen in full exercise of their civil and political rights, which has occupied academic or administrative positions, the exercise requires knowledge in education, which has been distinguished by his integrity and professional competence in carrying out activities related to the duties of the Institute, and obtained the minimum level of degree, as provided Organic Statute of the AIMS-DF.
The members of the Union of the Workers Union of Upper Secondary Education Institute of the Federal District (SUTIEMS) demand that it fully complies with the provisions of the regulations of the Institute and immediately begin a process of democratization of the enabling participation of the entire community in this and other decisions.
We believe that no government official currently meet the required profile to guide the AIMS-DF, so we demand the GDF three key elements to make this decision: 1) wisdom, 2) transparency, 3) attachment to regulations.
The agenda of issues that currently exist in the AIMS-DF is very broad and should be addressed as soon as possible. The change in staff does not solve the problems that have arisen in the Institute due to lack of budget, regulations, attachment to the Federal Labour Law, in compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, among other situations.
